Welcome to the University of Luton’s Centre for Women’s Enterprise, set up with support from the European Social Fund to ensure that women in small to medium sized businesses in England gain access to the skills, support, inspiration and contacts needed to succeed, in a friendly, accessible and supportive environment. Whether you are a woman who is self-employed, employed, or actively seeking to enter or return to employment we hope to contribute to your success!
Get the word out with articles and resources on market research, building a marketing plan, branding, building buzz, low-cost tips, word-of-mouth, networking, marketing materials, partnering and more.
Workshops
In 2006 they are running enjoyable, practical business and personal skills workshops and evening talks with networking opportunities in Herts and Beds. Their workshops and talks are for self-employed women and women employed in businesses of up to 250 employees, and for unemployed women who are actively seeking to return to employment.
Women
Luton will also be offering a Women in Business Conference, Research into women’s business experience, and a dedicated website with case studies of women who run their own businesses.
