Shenzhen
SHENZHEN: Telecom network provider Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd has signed a $100 million GSM network expansion contract in May 2006 with Telecom Malaysia Investment (Bangladesh) Ltd. (TMIB), a telecom operator in Bangladesh.
According to the contract, Huawei will supply a wide range of GSM products and solutions including MSC, BSC, BTS, GPRS as part of the expanded network, as well as MMS, WAP and WIN platforms. Huawei will also be providing post sales services and professional consulting services to TMIB on network operations
Meanwhile, Huawei had on Monday, May 8 2006, changed its logo. Based on the original style of youthfulness and an enterprising spirit, the new logo reflects the company's principles of customer-focus, innovation, steady and sustainable growth, and harmony, Huawei said in a statement.
Huawei will develop more steadily in an international and professional direction, focus increasingly on customers and grow in a healthy way by creating a harmonious business environment together with its customers, partners and peers.
